1. Description of Service
Coinova is a personal finance management application that allows you to track income, expenses, budgets, savings goals, travel expenses, and store card information securely on your device. The App is provided by Adverge Studio ("we", "us", "our"). The App is a personal budgeting tool — it is not a regulated financial service, financial advisor, or banking product.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Coinova. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
3. Account Registration
You may create an account using email and password, Google Sign-In, or Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use Coinova only for lawful personal finance management purposes. You shall not:
- Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
- Attempt to access other users' data or accounts
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality or servers
- Use the App to store information other than your own personal financial data
- Submit any data that infringes third-party rights or violates applicable law
5. Data and Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the App, you consent to the collection and use of data as described there.
6. Card Data Security
Card numbers and CVVs you store in the App are encrypted with AES-256-GCM. The encryption key is generated randomly on first use and stored in iOS Keychain or Android Keystore — the operating system only releases the key to this app. The encrypted card data and the key both stay on your device, and never sync to the cloud or to us. We do not have access to your full card numbers under any circumstances. You are responsible for protecting access to your device and the App's security features (Face ID, Touch ID, PIN).
If you copy a full card number or CVV from the in-app Wallet, the value is automatically wiped from the system clipboard 30 seconds later, or immediately when you switch to another app, to limit clipboard exposure.
7. Cloud Synchronization
Transaction data, budgets, savings goals, travel trips, card metadata (last 4 digits, name, expiry, network only), and account settings sync to Firebase Cloud Firestore to enable cross-device access. Cloud writes use atomic per-element operations so that changes made on one device while another is offline are merged correctly when both reconnect — you will not silently lose entries to write conflicts. You can delete all cloud data at any time from within the App. Firebase App Check (Apple App Attest on iOS, Google Play Integrity on Android, reCAPTCHA v3 on web) gates all backend access.
8. Notifications
Notifications (budget alerts, bill reminders, weekly summary, savings milestones) are optional and can be enabled or disabled from Profile → Notifications. All notifications are local to your device — we do not send push notifications from a server. You may revoke notification permission at any time in your device's system settings.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
Coinova is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that:
- The App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
- Financial data, calculations, projections, or AI insights will be perfectly accurate
- The App will meet all of your requirements
- Exchange rates fetched from third-party APIs are real-time or guaranteed accurate
- Notifications (budget alerts, bill reminders, etc.) will fire at exact times — operating system policies may delay or batch them
- Cloud sync will deliver data instantly under all network conditions
Coinova is a personal budgeting tool, not a financial advisor. Do not rely solely on the App for financial decisions, tax filings, debt repayment, or investment choices.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Adverge Studio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App, including but not limited to loss of data, financial loss, missed payments, or business interruption.
11. Account Deletion
You may delete your account at any time from within the App (Profile → Delete My Account). This permanently removes your Firebase authentication account, all cloud-stored data, all local data, the encryption keys stored in iOS Keychain / Android Keystore, and any scheduled notifications. This action cannot be undone.
12. Backups
You may export a backup of your data as a JSON file from Profile → Your Data → Backup Data. You may optionally encrypt the backup with a passphrase you choose. If you forget that passphrase, the encrypted backup cannot be recovered — there is no key-escrow mechanism. We recommend storing the passphrase in a secure password manager.
13. Intellectual Property
The Coinova name, logo, design, and all content within the App are the property of Adverge Studio. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App without our written permission.
14. Third-Party Services
Coinova uses the following third-party services. Their respective terms and privacy policies apply to the portions of the App that interact with them:
- Firebase (Google) — Authentication, Firestore database, App Check
- Google Sign-In — OAuth authentication (optional)
- Sign in with Apple — OAuth authentication (optional, iOS)
- Open Exchange Rate API (open.exchangerate-api.com) — currency conversion rates, used by the in-app Currency Converter
- Apple App Attest (iOS) and Google Play Integrity (Android) — anti-abuse signals consumed by Firebase App Check
We are not responsible for the practices of third-party services.
15. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Material changes will be communicated through the App or via email.
16. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time by deleting your account and uninstalling the App.
17. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
18. App Store Terms
If you downloaded the App from the Apple App Store or Google Play, you also agree to that store's terms of service. In the event of a conflict between those terms and these Terms in respect of distribution and licensing of the App, the relevant store's terms govern that aspect.
